Opportunity

As a key member of Kohler Co.’s Global Benefits department, the Benefits Analyst assists with the plan design, compliance and delivery of the Company’s benefit programs. This position is responsible for conducting research and analysis, benefit plan implementation and ongoing administration, developing and executing benefit processes, minor project management, development of associate communications, and responding to HR Generalist information requests.

Specific Responsibilities

• Serves as a subject matter expert and Center of Excellence team member on matters associated with the Company’s benefit plans.
• Assists with the planning and administration of the Company’s benefit programs. Develops and maintains working relationships with HR business partners, cross-functional leads, and vendors to ensure effective and efficient communication, implementation and day-to-day administration of all benefits plans, programs and initiatives.
• Maintains accurate transmissions between Kohler Co.’s HR systems and benefit administration systems for all Kohler Co. health & welfare benefit programs.
• Integrates and analyzes employee benefit data collected from multiple sources, draws conclusions, and presents results clearly, succinctly and accurately.
• Conducts research and analysis in support of benefit plan development and/or modifications. 
• Participates in the ongoing design and implementation of effective associate communications and education programs for Kohler Co. benefit plans. This includes preparation and distribution of summary plan descriptions, benefit highlights for recruiting, medical plan SBCs and other statutory notices, and participant benefit statements.
• Represents Global Benefits on cross-functional project teams reviewing processes and procedures. This includes actively participating in the development and implementation of policies and practices that support broader Human Resources objectives.
• Assists in the maintenance of the internal benefit web sites relating to benefit information. This includes posting, reviewing and keeping relevant content up to date.
• Participates in key vendor relationships, develops an in-depth understanding of benefit operations, and initiates process improvements. Periodically, supports RFP processes for vendor selection.
• Assists with self-funded health plan pricing analysis and development of COBRA rates.
• Supports the Annual Enrollment process, including developing and reviewing communications, delivering educational sessions and updating external vendors with changes to Kohler Co.’s programs.
• Provides technical support on annual plan audits, government filings, benefit integrations, and other related compliance activities, as assigned.
• Assist Retirement Plans COE in periodic retirement plan auditing and associate/retiree communications.
