Part time Seasonal with flexible hours Income tax preparation for individuals and small businesses.. Identification of potential tax credits and liabilities and ensuring complete and accurate tax returns are filed in a timely manner. Completion of tax forms, schedules and worksheets in accordance with the firm's policies and in compliance with legislation and regulations. Completion of these duties may also require creation, analysis and/or reconciliation of financial statements and reports in accounting programs (e.g., QuickBooks).
Performance based bonus available upon completion of the full tax season.
Tax preparation experience is required. Demonstrated aptitude for numbers, accounting and reconciliations, as well as organizational skills is required. Minimum of high school degree required; college education preferred. IRS regulations require a clean background check for this position.
