The Scoop:

The Testing Analyst is directly responsible to the DOI Manager for coordinating all activities related to the testing MedImpact’s solution. This includes unit testing, system testing, and readiness testing.

What You Get To Do:

• Ensuring that test cases are defined, executed, and documented for MedImpact’s solution

• Consulting with State to identify and plan for tests that address situations that routinely challenge the State's business processes, to include performance and regression testing

• Monitoring test activities to ensure that test steps are correctly followed and that test results are repeatable

• Establishing and maintaining a process for capturing test results

• Recording and reporting the results of test activities

• Documenting and tracking issues and defects status

Supervisory Responsibilities

This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

Education and/or Experience

For consideration candidates will need:

• Bachelor's Degree OR four years' experience, in addition to the general requirement for five years' experience, will be a suitable substitute for the Bachelor's degree

• Minimum of five years' experience developing and executing testing programs for solutions like MedImpact solutions for the AMPP

• Working knowledge of MedImpact’s proposed solution for the AMPP

• Working knowledge of business processes associated with the AMPP

Computer Skills

Strong proficiency with MS Office / Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Visio and Outlook to create complex documents, manage schedules, and analyze data. Business user of multiple software applications/processing systems. Working knowledge of key business application such as SQL coding, Oracle forms, Golden 32, , Visio, knowledgeable of UNIX operating systems.

Ability to effectively balance a high volume of work and a variety of tasks; ability to prioritize urgent issues effectively. Strong analytic, verbal and written communication skills. Detail-oriented with high degree of accuracy and organizational skills. Able to effectively work as a team player as well as independently Excellent investigative, problem resolution, judgment and decision- making skills required. Excellent presentation and consultative skills, working with internal and external clients at various levels in the organization.

Travel

This position requires domestic travel of up to 20% of the time.
