Beverage Manager - Casino manages all activities of the beverage function for the organization. The Beverage Manager - Casino supervises a group of primarily para-professional level staffs. May also be a level above a supervisor within high volume administrative/ production environments. Makes day-to-day decisions within or for a group/small department. Has some authority for personnel actions. Thorough knowledge of department processes.   • The Productivity Manager’s purpose is to help set direction with site leadership to implement lean principles to deliver business results. Responsible for teaching, mentoring and execution of lean strategy via use of the High-Performance Work System (HPWS). Responsible for effective communication of site goals and objectives of the specific lean activities and to provide a system for measuring results of lean activities on an ongoing basis. Responsible for ensuring that lean improvements are rolled out quickly, effectively and that the improvements are sustainable. 

    Primary Position Responsibilities: 

    • Drive Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) and process improvements.
    • Provide accurate, timely feasibility assessments of manufacturing and savings projects to enable data-based business decision-making and strategies.
    • Institutionalize and standardize a more comprehensive lean program for the site that integrates with the organization’s overall strategy. 
    • Collaborate with plant engineering and operations to improve feasibility of new ideas.
    • Provide training of local resources to learn common techniques of root cause resolution.
    • Actively identify and champion productivity or revenue-building ideas through Process Mapping and other value stream mapping techniques.
    • Effectively communicate project status, issues/help needed and key milestones to team members and to leadership.
    • Deliver technically robust projects on time and within the funded amount.
    • Monitor & track packaging system trends in order to identify & prioritize improvement projects and initiatives.
    • Provide technical support for plant and facility operations, including investigation and correction of any issues.
    • Collaborate effectively in a lean, team-based, flat organization.
    • Participate fully as a member of the Sherman Site Central Leadership Team, promote team effectiveness and contribute to a positive work environment.
    • Facilitating operational team training:
      • Facilitating 5S, SMED, CLE, ERCA,
    • Assemble and monitor key CI processes:
      • Annual CI master plan for multiple plant initiatives
      • Cost reduction projects
      • Training plans

    Required Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering or equivalent technical major or 10 years continuous improvement experience in an applicable operational research project field.
    • Minimum five years of Lean / Six Sigma experience with increasing levels of responsibility.
    • Proven project management skills and experience in implementation of projects > $1MM.
    • Ability to provide leadership and training in a team-based environment.
    • Experience leading teams through transformations with sustained results including: applying lean concepts in a process environment, change management, servant leadership, TPM, changeovers, visual controls, and kaizen.
    • Professional level communication skills in English, both written and oral.
    • Proven analytical skills through the ability to troubleshoot and diagnose issues and use tools to problem-solve. 
    • Computer skills: Microsoft Office products (Word/Excel/PowerPoint/Outlook, MS Project, Access, AutoCAD, VISIO), Internet research skills
    • Outstanding time management, prioritization and organization skills

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Power BI
    • LSS, PMP, PMI, CFA, or MBA
