    GET TO KNOW THE ROLE

    The Beverage Supervisor is responsible for assisting the Beverage Manager in supervising and coordinating the overall activities of the Bar operation as assigned and ensuring beverage staff provides superior service to guests, following the operating procedures, including safety policy and procedures.

    WHAT YOU'LL DO

    • Exemplifies MCR's values and set a great example by always demonstrating excellent guest service and professionalism.
    • Practice, support and promote the Mission, Vision and Values of Muckleshoot Casino Resort.

    • Assist in hiring staff, training, scheduling, and assigning duties.

    • Supervise the requisition of all liquor (beer, wine, and other beverages) from the warehouse to all bars, as directed.

    • Respond to callout's, adjust staffing to ensure appropriate coverage.

    • Assist with performance evaluations.

    • Maintain security of goods.

    • Assist in maintaining all departmental team members' files.

    • Train all beverage/bar staff.

    • Keep staff updated on policies, procedures, and special events.

    • Ensure compliance with State Alcoholic Beverage regulations.

    • Ensure proper procedures are adhered to while handling emergency situations.

    WHAT YOU'LL BRING

    • Ability to obtain a Class III B gaming license.
    • High school diploma or equivalent required.
    • One (1) year of hospitality or business courses and liquor board awareness classes is required.
    • One (1) year of supervisory/management experience is required.
    • Beverage serving experience and bartending experience is required.

    HOW YOU’LL BE SUCCESSFUL

    • Knowledge of POS systems.
    • Knowledge of health & safety standards, and safety regulations as required.
    • Ability to demonstrate intrinsic motivation and work ethics.
    • Ability to work efficiently and productively within a team.
    • Ability to demonstrate excellent communication skills. Read, write, and speak English fluently.
    • Ability to maintain neat, clean, and healthy work habits.
    • Must be 21 years or older.

    WHAT TO EXPECT

    • Availability – Ability to work different shifts, holidays, weekends, and nights to support a 24/7 operation.
    • Physical – Ability to maneuver in all areas of casino, ascent/descent from stairs, frequent standing, walking, sitting, reaching, stooping, kneeling, or crouching, and/or prolonged periods of time focusing on tasks. Ability to lift at least 25 lbs. May regularly need to lift/ move, push or pull up material or boxes necessary to the job function, with or without assistance.
    • Environment – Exposure to environmental tobacco smoke (ETS) while working and traversing on the gaming floor.
