Position: Billing Analyst

Location: Fort Worth, TX

Job Description: Detail-oriented, meticulous, and organized Billing Analyst to join our Billing Team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurately processing and managing billing transactions and processes. The Billing Analyst will play a crucial role in maintaining efficient billing practices while providing excellent customer service in a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities include:

• Generate and process accurate and timely customer invoices.
• Verify billing for completeness and accuracy before submission.
• Processes invoices to customers by interfacing with other personnel and utilizing the billing software and financial systems while validating that proper approval has been obtained prior to customer invoicing.
• Verifies that customer accounts are billed accurately and up to date
• Prepare regular reports on billing activities
• Assumes responsibility for underlying documentation in support of organization policies for invoicing customers.
• Collaborate with internal teams to gather necessary billing information.
• Communicate with customers to address billing inquiries and resolve issues with a customer focused approach.
• Assist with the testing and updating of the billing software as it relates to the billing team and it’s functions.

Requirements: 

High School Diploma or GED Equivalent. Some college is a plus. Previous billing experience desired. Familiarity with billing software is a plus. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks. Superb verbal and written communication skills. Ability to communicate effectively with internal teams and external customers. Ability to identify and resolve billing discrepancies and issues. Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in data entry. Collaborative and can-do attitude with the ability to work well within a team as well as independently.
