Job Description:

We are currently looking for a Billing Clerk to join our accounting team here at Virtru. As a Billing Clerk, you will need to be highly detail oriented and have exposure to NetSuite and Salesforce. This position will be based out of the Philippines.

Job Responsibilities:

• Review and approve sales orders based on opportunities, quotes and contracts.
• Create and send invoices based on approved sales orders.
• Record and match payments to invoices.
• Match billing records with cash receipts.
• Review outstanding invoices and follow up with customers.
• Resolve billing-related questions and concerns.
• Complete vendor request forms and send W-9s.
• Keep organized billing transaction records.
• Coordinate with sales, customer support, and accounting for accurate billing.
• Monitor sales order and invoice activity for workflow inconsistencies and updates.

• High school diploma or equivalent, with preference given to those with relevant certifications or degrees in finance or accounting.
• Experience with NetSuite and Salesforce.
• Previous experience in billing, accounts receivable, or a related financial role is required.
• Ability to spot discrepancies in financial records and ensure accuracy in all transactions.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills to interact effectively with customers and internal departments.
• Capability to analyze financial data, understand billing processes, and recognize patterns or irregularities.
