Billing Systems Analyst jobs in Harrington, DE

Responsible for administering, developing, and enhancing business applications to ensure their integrity. This role involves troubleshooting, recommending, and implementing system improvements, as well as managing projects to optimize business processes and the overall IT environment. Additionally, the position requires compliance assurance, risk management, and proactive incident support.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Administer, Maintain, and Troubleshoot:

   • Demonstrate expertise in administering and troubleshooting a portfolio of business applications.
   • Anticipate and respond to business needs, recommending and implementing enhancements.
   • Design and implement applications, business rules, and process flows.
   • Develop and administer tools to monitor and remediate issues within business applications.

2. Plan and Develop:

   • Develop and adhere to a roadmap and lifecycle for the business application portfolio.
   • Propose and execute projects aligned with strategic imperatives.
   • Plan and execute corrective efforts to prevent and correct security vulnerabilities.
   • Manage the application roadmap, project schedule, and annual budget.

3. Assure Compliance and Risk Management:

   • Ensure compliance with policies, guidelines, and regulations.
   • Implement and monitor department and company policies and controls.
   • Manage contractual obligations, licensing terms, and vendor negotiations.

Requirements:

• Education/Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • Minimum five years of systems administration experience.
  • Knowledgeable in Linux, Windows OS, Oracle Database, Microsoft SQL Database, SQL, PL/SQL.

• Additional Skills:

  • Experience in designing, implementing, and administering business applications.
  • Strong skills in time and risk management, problem-solving, and communication.
  • Specialized knowledge in Oracle Utilities, PeopleSoft, ESRI GIS, Infor EAM, IBM Cognos, Automic Automation Engine.
