Billing Systems Manager manages the daily operations of the billing system. Ensures the operations and associated procedures of billing systems are efficient and effective for billing delivery. Being a Billing Systems Manager develops and implements new billing solutions to improve departmental efficiency and accuracy. Helps develop strategies for system integration of future technology. Additionally, Billing Systems Manager may require a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a head of a unit/department. The Billing Systems Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Billing Systems Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required. Description: Our client is currently seeking a Senior Systems Analyst - Oracle CustomerCare BillingTech Stack:- Specialized knowledge in Oracle Utilities, PeopleSoft, ESRI GIS, Infor EAM, IBM Cognos, Automic Automation Engine.
- Knowledgeable in Linux, Windows OS, Oracle Database, Microsoft SQL Database, SQL, PL/SQL.
Responsible for administering, developing, and enhancing business applications to ensure their integrity. This role involves troubleshooting, recommending, and implementing system improvements, as well as managing projects to optimize business processes and the overall IT environment. Additionally, the position requires compliance assurance, risk management, and proactive incident support.
Key Responsibilities:
Administer, Maintain, and Troubleshoot:
- Demonstrate expertise in administering and troubleshooting a portfolio of business applications.
- Anticipate and respond to business needs, recommending and implementing enhancements.
- Design and implement applications, business rules, and process flows.
- Develop and administer tools to monitor and remediate issues within business applications.
Plan and Develop:
- Develop and adhere to a roadmap and lifecycle for the business application portfolio.
- Propose and execute projects aligned with strategic imperatives.
- Plan and execute corrective efforts to prevent and correct security vulnerabilities.
- Manage the application roadmap, project schedule, and annual budget.
Assure Compliance and Risk Management:
- Ensure compliance with policies, guidelines, and regulations.
- Implement and monitor department and company policies and controls.
- Manage contractual obligations, licensing terms, and vendor negotiations.
Requirements:
Education/Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field.
- Minimum five years of systems administration experience.
- Knowledgeable in Linux, Windows OS, Oracle Database, Microsoft SQL Database, SQL, PL/SQL.
Additional Skills:
- Experience in designing, implementing, and administering business applications.
- Strong skills in time and risk management, problem-solving, and communication.
- Specialized knowledge in Oracle Utilities, PeopleSoft, ESRI GIS, Infor EAM, IBM Cognos, Automic Automation Engine.
