Billing Systems Manager jobs in Riverton, WY

The successful candidate will be responsible for client billing for self-funded employee health benefit plans. The responsibilities include production of monthly premium bills, distributing bills and reports to clients and serving as a resource to clients regarding their account funding. He/she will work with the Prodegi client service team to set up accurate client accounts for new or renewing clients and handle monthly billing and processing of premiums, fees, and commission. Additionally, he or she will produce and verify the accuracy of monthly billing statements, reconcile bank statements and distribute informational reports to client groups and ensure client accounts are funded on a timely basis.

Responsibilities

• Billing and Collecting monthly stop loss premiums, administrative fees and commissions.
• Posting billing payments and stop loss reimbursements using group billing systems.
• Balancing and reconciliation of group premium and fee payments
• Compiling and working reports daily, weekly, and monthly.
• Light accounting work and account reconciliations.
• Prepare management reports as required.
• Provide service to clients in coordination with Client Account Managers
• Prepares monthly premium reconciliation report, adjustment report and funding requests
• Documents client activity and communicate activity with Account Management team.
• Identify problems and resolve them timely as well as reporting the problems when necessary.
• Resolves routine issues with internal departments
• Monitor client account activity to identify and alert Account Management Team and clients about notable trends.
• Reconciles administrative fee payments claims
• Track and reconcile stop loss recoveries
• Performs other duties as assigned

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

• Knowledge of self-funded health benefits and stop loss insurance
• Knowledge of basic accounting and/or bookkeeping principles
• Knowledge of employee benefit plans and insurance products
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written
• Working knowledge of Quickbooks, MS Excel, Word, Outlook and claim processing platforms.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 – 35 per week
