About the role
Human Interest is looking to add a talented and motivated corporate attorney to join its growing legal and compliance team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact at a leading fintech startup. Reporting to the Assistant General Counsel, this role will be a key partner for all corporate affairs. You will collaborate with business teams across the organization and support the organization’s day-to-day operational needs and strategic priorities, with a focus on contracting, corporate governance matters, and strategic transactions, as well as supporting the Board of Directors and Committees.
U.S. West Coast locations are preferred, but Human Interest will consider other U.S. locations.

Compensation - At Human Interest, there are a number of factors that are used to determine the appropriate pay range for each position. We take into account the cost of labor for each position in various markets across the US. The base salary for this position spans $170,000 - $185,000 and represents the minimum in our lowest geographic region to a maximum in our highest geographic region. The salary that we offer to a new employee within this range is based on their location within the US, their relevant job-related skills, and experience. At Human Interest, base salary is one component of the overall Total Rewards package. Depending on the position, additional compensation components such as bonus, commission, and equity may be offered.
