Position Purpose:
The Sales Administrator is an integral component of Bond Optics’ sales team. They are the “glue” to the sales pipeline, by serving as the primary point of contact for customers and facilitating seamless communication and structure amongst the sales team. The Sales Administrator will support the sales team in attaining monthly and annual targets, through administration and effective communication with new and existing clients.

Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, acting as a liaison between customers and the broader sales team.
- Prepare, organize, and manage customer quotes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Maintain accurate records of all quotations, including historical pricing details, terms and conditions, and customer communications.
- Organize and archive quotation documents for easy retrieval and reference.
- Perform sales analysis as structured by management to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
- Assist in the implementation of sales strategies to drive business growth and meet targets.
- Review contracts to ensure compliance and accuracy. Collaborate with management and leadership to ensure contract compliance and risk mitigation.
- Contact vendors and service providers to coordinate logistics and support sales activities, in collaboration with Purchasing.
- Receive, verify, and process purchase orders (POs) accurately and efficiently.
- Acts under the direction of the Sales Manager and Account Manager(s).

Qualifications (Education and Experience):
- Proven experience in a similar administrative role required. 3 years in a sales support or customer service role preferred.
- Knowledge of performance metrics (KPIs) preferred.
- Experience working in controlled environment and familiarity with ISO9001/AS9100 preferred.
- Knowledge of use with third-party data portals, FTP sites and similar preferred.
- Technical background required. Associate degree preferred.
- B2B and/or manufacturing experience preferred.
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements like ITAR, CMMC, and DFARS preferred.
- Familiarity with ERP systems preferred.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
