Bond Trading Manager manages and leads a group of bond traders responsible for the timely buying and selling of government or corporate bonds. Reviews orders to ensure accuracy, proper record keeping, and conformance to regulations. Being a Bond Trading Manager evaluates market volatility and ensures clients receive the best rate available. Develops programs and strategies to increase profitability. Additionally, Bond Trading Manager keeps abreast of market conditions. Requires a bachelor's degree in a related area. Typically reports to a director. The Bond Trading Manager typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. To be a Bond Trading Manager typically requires 3+ years of managerial experience. Capable of resolving escalated issues arising from operations and requiring coordination with other departments.     Specific responsibilities include:
    • Researches, identifies, and authenticates collectible trading cards
    • Assesses the condition, quality and furthermore grades the item using established standards   
    • Meets established production goals while maintaining superior grading standards
    • Entry of grading data into computer system  
    Requirements:
    • Comprehensive knowledge of Trading Card required
    • Expansive knowledge as it relates to card printing, including printing processes, variants, and errors
    • 1 – 3 years of direct grading experience as a card grader or as a dealer/collector with extensive grading submission history
    • Detail oriented with the ability to detect counterfeit and altered cards with a high level of accuracy
    • Maintains the highest level of integrity
    • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
    • Strong organizational skills to achieve production goals and maximize productivity
    • Willing to travel domestically and internationally as business need arise
