Responsibilities

Payroll Administration

• Prepare information to our payroll service provider.
• Ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll.

Financial Reporting and Tax Filings:

• Prepare accurate and timely financial reports.
• Assist in the preparation of tax filings and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.

Banking and Cash Management:

• Maintain and reconcile banking account and credit card transactions.
• Review and forecast cash flows.

Accounts Payable (AP):

• Process supplier invoices promptly and accurately.
• Pay supplier invoices in accordance with company policies and take advantage of available discounts.

Accounts Receivable (AR):

• Issue invoices to customers accurately and promptly.
• Process sales taxes from customers using third-party systems.

Administrative Support:

• Provide clerical and administrative assistance to management as required.
• Assist with various ad-hoc tasks and projects.

Human Resources (HR) Support:

• Coordinate onboarding paperwork for new hires.
• Administer employee benefits, including enrollment and changes.
• Support internal and external audits related to HR and financial matters.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or similar role, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in accounting software and experience with QuickBooks Online preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial record-keeping.
• Knowledge of payroll processing and familiarity with relevant regulations.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively and work well within a team.
• Prior experience in human resources administration is a plus.

Education

• An associate’s or bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field is preferred.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., Certified Bookkeeper) are advantageous but not required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00 - $26.50 per hour
