**Role Overview:**

As our Accountant, you'll play a key role in ensuring the financial health and integrity of our operations. Your responsibilities will span across:

• Accounts Payable and Receivable Management: Efficiently manage invoices, payments, and vendor relationships. Ensure timely reconciliations and follow-ups on outstanding invoices. Managed and fully owning process from first to finish.
• General Ledger and Journal Entries: Maintain accurate financial records, prepare journal entries, and ensure all documentation is up-to-date. Complete this with existing company and other entities within.
• Bank Reconciliation and Financial Reporting: Reconcile bank & credit card statements, investigate discrepancies, and assist in the preparation of comprehensive financial reports for management/ownership.
• Payroll Processing and Expense Tracking: Collaborate closely with HR to process payroll accurately and maintain detailed records - payroll processed and executed weekly. Track company expenses and contribute to cost control initiatives. This includes managing HSA/FSA distribution and 401k management.
• Tax Compliance and Financial Audits: Assist in preparing tax documents and ensuring compliance with regulations. Support both internal and external audit processes.
• Controller and Analysis: The ability to communicate effectively with co-workers and management about the finances of the business and justify certain financial recommendations. Assist management with important financial decisions and prepare financial documents such as business reports, financial forecasts and statements to understand the financial state of business.

**What You Bring:**

- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

- Proven experience in accounting, with a strong grasp of accounting principles.

- Proficiency in QuickBooks, MS Office Suite, especially Excel (Open / experienced with Sage100 and other accounting platforms).

- A detail-oriented approach with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
