    Position Overview:We are seeking a skilled and motivated RV Technician to join our team and contribute to the maintenance, repair, and servicing of recreational vehicles (RVs). As an RV Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our customers' RVs are in optimal working condition, delivering exceptional customer experiences through your technical expertise and attention to detail.

    Responsibilities:

    • Perform diagnostic assessments to identify issues and malfunctions in various RV systems, including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, appliances, and structural components.
    • Conduct repairs and maintenance tasks on RVs, such as repairing plumbing leaks, troubleshooting electrical problems, servicing generators, fixing appliances, and addressing chassis-related issues.
    • Collaborate with customers to gather information about problems and discuss recommended repairs or upgrades.
    • Complete repairs according to industry standards and manufacturer specifications, ensuring safety and functionality of RV systems.
    • Install, upgrade, and replace RV components and accessories, including awnings, solar panels, satellite systems, and more.
    • Provide preventative maintenance services, including winterizing and de-winterizing RVs, inspecting seals and roofs, and performing routine system checks.
    • Keep accurate records of all maintenance and repair work performed, including parts used and time spent, using both digital and manual systems.
    • Stay updated on industry trends, new technologies, and best practices to continuously enhance your technical skills and knowledge.
    • Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring the proper handling and disposal of hazardous materials in compliance with environmental regulations.
    • Communicate effectively with customers, providing clear explanations of repairs, maintenance procedures, and potential upgrades.
    • Assist in maintaining inventory levels of RV parts, tools, and supplies, and recommend reordering as needed.
    • Adhere to safety guidelines and protocols, promoting a safe working environment for yourself, colleagues, and customers.

    Qualifications:

    • High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a vocational or technical program in RV repair is preferred.
    • Proven experience as an RV Technician or similar role, with a strong understanding of RV systems, components, and repair techniques.
    • Solid knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical systems found in RVs.
    • Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment to identify and troubleshoot problems.
    • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, diagrams, and schematics.
    • Strong problem-solving skills and a detail-oriented approach to tasks.
    • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
    • Physical stamina and dexterity to handle various tasks that may involve heavy lifting, bending, and working in tight spaces.
    • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
    • Certification from RV industry organizations (e.g., RVDA-RVIA) is a plus.

    Working Conditions:

    • The position involves working in a repair shop environment, as well as outdoors for on-site repairs and maintenance.
    • Physical demands include standing, walking, bending, lifting heavy objects, and working in confined spaces.
    • RV Technicians may be required to work weekends, holidays, and extended hours during peak seasons.
