Job Description – Service Technician – Automotive Equipment

Job Type: Full-Time

CLASS is a growing local company seeking an Automotive Equipment Technician for a Full-Time positon.
Technician will install, service and inspect; automotive lifts, fluid distribution, air compressors, compressed air and lubrication lines, etc. Candidate must have mechanical ability, a clean driving record and be dependable. Travel to job site will be required.

License/Certification:

• Current valid driver’s license with a clean motor vehicle record

Education Requirements:

• High School Diploma/GED
• Trade School (Preferred, not required)
• At lest 1 year of Basic Mechanical Knowledge and Experience
• Must have or be able to obtain forklift operators card

Job Skills Required:

• Must be able to read a measuring tape in 1/16” increments.
• Must be capable of lifting 75 lbs or more on a daily basis.
• Possess a strong mechanical/technical aptitude.
• Be willing to learn and attend periodic training to expand knowledge base.
• Must be able to start your day from our physical address or arrive at job site at predetermined start time.
• Keep company truck well-maintained & organized, and help manage parts efficiently
• Attention to high safety standards both on the road and while on the job.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written; Ability to read, write, and speak English

Service all facets of a automotive service shop to include but not limited to :

• In-ground and above ground vehicle automotive lifts
• Fluid management systems
• Air compressors, air tubing, and various associated equipment
• Pneumatic air pumps, regulators, and associated equipment
• Various kinds of piping installation: Carbon steel, Aluminum, Galvanized
• Attention to high safety standards both on the road and while on the job.
• Some overnight travel required
• 90 day probation period. After 90 days, 401K and medical benefits.
• 1 week paid vacation after 1 year 2 weeks after 2 years

Please note that we are willing to train the right candidate with technical aptitude who may not have direct experience servicing automotive equipment.
