    Role Description:

    The Business Development & Salesperson is an integral team member in the company of 65 employees. We have a solid marketing and sales plan; and are looking for an individual to execute with our current marketing team, adding more clients to our portfolio in 2024 and into the future. Our focus is to continually grow our business through relationship selling in key verticals that match our company goals. You need to be a charismatic, and a strategic relationship builder that will grow and establish opportunities for lead generation for property emergencies as well as building repair projects. This position will focus on opportunities within the government, municipalities, property management, educational, medical, and other larger commercial sectors.

     

    Candidates for this position must be energetic, have strong communication skills, have an outgoing personality, be very well organized and have a self-starter mentality. On the job training provided for the right candidate. We look forward to investing in your future!

     

    Primary Job Responsibilities:

    • Evaluate and improve sales, marketing, and branding strategies
    • Identify and develop sales, marketing, and branding strategies
    • Develop client relationships and strengthen industry partnerships though visits, participation in organized events, and cold calling
    • Identify new clients by researching and creating networking opportunities
    • Organize and schedule a calendar of consistent business to business visits
    • Create and maintain customer loyalty and preference by establishing a positive and trusting relationship with the customer
    • Monitor, interpret, and respond to lead sources
    • Establish and maintain positive relationships in the local community
    • Participate in restoration related community awareness events and programs
    • Proactively search for, and act upon potential opportunities
    • Other related duties as needed. Please note that the duties and responsibilities described are not a comprehensive list and that additional tasks may be assigned from time to time

     

    Experience and Skills:

    • Must be proficient with Microsoft Office programs (especially Excel) and have general computer/technology skills
    • Strong sales skills (influential ability to educate prospects and sell our services)
    • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and problem solve in a fast-paced environment
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills
    • Must be very detailed and have time management skills
    • Excellent phone skills/etiquette
    • Excellent customer service skills with the ability to show empathy
    • Ability to handle stress and be able to work under pressure while exhibiting emotional control
    • Ability to take action with little supervision
    • Must be dependable

     

    Physical Demands:

    • Lift (minimal) 5-10 lbs.
    • Involves sitting/standing.

     

    Pay:

    • Base salary, DOE, plus commission

    Schedule:

    • 40 - 45 hours per week, Monday through Friday, generally from 8am to 5pm, but may vary to accommodate event participation outside these hours. Travel required (using company vehicle).

     

    Education:

    • High school or equivalent (minimum)

     

    License/Certification:

    • Driver's License (Required)
