Under the direction of the Casino Cage Operations Shift Manager, the incumbent is responsible for the direct supervision of cashiering functions. High school diploma or GED required as well as one (1) to two (2) years of related cage, banking and/or cashiering experience. Ability to read and write short memos. Must also have strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively work with staff as well as patrons. Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide by fractions, whole numbers, and decimals. Ability to calculate interest, commission, and percentages as it applies to job functions. Required to become proficient with department specific computer programs. Position requires prolonged period of standing, walking, sitting, writing and keyboarding. Environment is that of a casino floor dealing with the general public in a fast-paced atmosphere with a moderate amount of noise.
