About the Role:

As the Inventory Procurement Manager, you'll be in charge of:

• Developing and implementing inventory procurement strategies that optimize stock levels, minimize costs, and meet customer demand.
• Sourcing high-quality cannabis products from reputable vendors, negotiating competitive prices, and managing vendor relationships.
• Analyzing sales data and consumer trends to forecast demand and make informed purchasing decisions.
• Maintaining accurate inventory records using industry-standard software and ensuring compliance with all regulations.
• Creating and managing purchase orders while adhering to budget constraints.
• Collaborating with the Retail team to understand their needs and ensure product availability.
• Staying up-to-date on industry trends and emerging cannabis products.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 21 years of age with a valid New York State ID.
• 3 years of experience in inventory management or procurement, preferably in the retail industry.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
• Detail-oriented and highly organized with a strong work ethic.
• Understanding of NYS cannabis regulations and compliance procedures.
• Passion for the cannabis industry and a commitment to responsible retail practices.

Bonus Points:

• Prior experience in the cannabis industry, especially in procurement or inventory management.
• Proficient in inventory management software
• Bilingual English/Spanish
• Certification in supply chain management or relevant training is preferred but not required.
