Business Analytics Manager manages and oversees business analytics projects and processes to provide data-driven insights related to business performance used to advise and develop strategies for operational improvements and future business initiatives. Utilizes KPIs, business performance data, industry trends, competitor intelligence, and customer information to develop analytical tools, reports, and models across the organization to inform and support decision-making. Being a Business Analytics Manager consults with stakeholders to understand the business model, objectives, issues, and challenges that analytics can support. Develops standards and collection processes to support robust analytics and reporting data pipelines. Additionally, Business Analytics Manager builds teams with statistical methods, modeling, analytical methodologies, and data analysis skills to support the business. Requires a bachelor's degree in finance, statistics or a quantitative field. Typically reports to a head of a unit/department. Cornerstone University in Grand Rapids, Michigan invites applications for a full time, 9-month faculty position in Business Data Analytics beginning fall, 2024. We are a theologically conservative Christian University located in Grand Rapids, MI.
The primary responsibilities of the faculty are teaching, spiritual modeling and mentoring, scholarship, and involvement in and service to Cornerstone and the general community. The successful candidate will demonstrate a commitment to excellence in undergraduate teaching. Other responsibilities include scholarly engagement in the candidate’s specialization area, academic advising, assessment of student learning, student recruitment and other departmental duties as assigned. The successful candidate is eligible for academic rank, likely beginning as an Assistant Professor, if qualifications are met.
