Business Continuity Manager leads the implementation and supports the development of a comprehensive business continuity strategy and programs, plans, and toolsets that support response, develop resiliency, and enable recovery from events that disrupt business operations. Establishes a framework and methodology to manage all business continuity life cycle activities, including risk assessment, business impact analysis, strategy development, implementation, testing and review, plan maintenance and updates. Being a Business Continuity Manager leads periodic review, validation, and workflow testing of documented business continuity plans. Develops and implements organization-wide training and communications. Additionally, Business Continuity Manager supports internal audits and regulatory exams of compliance with required regulations. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. May require the Certified Business Continuity Professional (CBCP) or similar BCP certification. Typically reports to a head of a unit/department. The Business Continuity Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Responsibilities:
- Identify and develop new business opportunities in the commercial market, including fleets, small businesses, and government entities
- Communicate with potential and existing clients to understand their needs and provide them with customized solutions
- Utilize various sales techniques and strategies to increase sales and profitability
- Maintain and grow relationships with clients by providing excellent customer service and addressing any concerns or issues that may arise
- Work with the dealership's finance department to provide financing options for clients
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, market conditions, and competitive activities to identify potential business opportunities and adjust sales strategies accordingly
- Prepare and present sales proposals, contracts, and other necessary documentation to clients
- Manage and maintain accurate records of sales activities and client interactions using our CRM system
- Collaborate with other departments, including service and parts, to ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction and retention
- Attend training and development sessions to increase product knowledge and improve sales skills
Requirements:
- 3 years of experience in sales, preferably in the automotive or commercial industry
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to build and maintain professional relationships with clients
- Knowledge of commercial vehicles and their features and benefits
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and increasing profitability
- Proficient in using CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to work flexible hours and weekends, as needed
