Business Continuity Manager leads the implementation and supports the development of a comprehensive business continuity strategy and programs, plans, and toolsets that support response, develop resiliency, and enable recovery from events that disrupt business operations. Establishes a framework and methodology to manage all business continuity life cycle activities, including risk assessment, business impact analysis, strategy development, implementation, testing and review, plan maintenance and updates. Being a Business Continuity Manager leads periodic review, validation, and workflow testing of documented business continuity plans. Develops and implements organization-wide training and communications. Additionally, Business Continuity Manager supports internal audits and regulatory exams of compliance with required regulations. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. May require the Certified Business Continuity Professional (CBCP) or similar BCP certification. Typically reports to a head of a unit/department. The Business Continuity Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Business Continuity Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required.     The Startup Grants Manager develops, evaluates, and administers WBC’s startup grant programs designed to invest in venture and high-growth Wyoming based entrepreneurs; specifically, Kickstart: Wyoming, Startup: Wyoming, and the Small Business Research and Innovation (SBIR) programs. Evaluates startup proposals for economic impact, program compliance, and determines WBC’s investment recommendations. Builds relationships with entrepreneurs, businesses, WBC board members, and establishes networks for the purposes of promoting Wyoming investment tools for Wyoming entrepreneurs. Takes an analytical and strategic approach to helping clients achieve their financial goals. The Startup Grants Manager maintains the integrity of all startup investment programs with thorough program knowledge, application options, and targeted analysis.

    This position has the flexibility to be located anywhere in the state of Wyoming. While WBC does have office space in some locations around the state, it may not be an option where you are located. Applicants are advised to be prepared to work from home and travel on occasion.
