Business Analyst / Data Analyst

  • Genesis10 is currently seeking a Business Analyst / Data Analyst with our client in the financial industry located in Charlotte, NC. This is a 12 month contract position.

    Responsibilities:
    • Assist in the execution of Enterprise Data Management Standards and/or Global Records Management Standards, and data quality and control practices
    • Function as a liaison between tteams and data management stakeholders that carry out data management tasks
    • Identify gaps in data management standards adherence and works with appropriate partners to develop plans to close gaps
    • Monitor key performance indicators and internal controls
    • Partner with stakeholders to create an infrastructure and processes that adhere to standards and other regulatory mandates
    • Work with other groups as needed, including Compliance, Audit, Operational Risk, and Technology to ensure effective controls over data for respective Domain
    • Data monitoring and controls
    • Monitor existing and new business processes, risks, and controls
    • Partner with stakeholders to perform QA assessments
    • Identify and remediate gaps to ensure adherence to Policies and Standards

    Requirements:
    • Bachelor's degree required 5 years financial industry experience required preferably with Finance, Tech or Data role
    • Detail oriented with the ability to handle a variety of tasks
    • Works in a self-directed manner and takes a proactive approach to job responsibilities
    • Highly organized with the ability to prioritize work, manage complexity and deliver solutions on deadlines Excellent verbal and written skills
    • Experience in performing data analysis tasks
    • Demonstrated passion for intellectual curiosity and accuracy as well as the ability to research issues and identify root cause and patterns
    • Collaboration and teamwork skills required
    • Spreadsheet skills, MS Access, MS Excel, Visual Basic for MS PowerPoint, SharePoint
