A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT LEADER

As a member of our Corporate Division, you’ll be instrumental in helping Schemmer continue to grow. Your main responsibilities include ensuring that our Architecture and Engineering Divisions have an adequate backlog of work to meet or exceed annual growth and profit goals.   You’ll accomplish this through establishing a personal business development plan that clearly defines client contacts and net service revenue goals.  You’ll engage in community activities, industry associations, trade shows and face-to-face client contact to develop strong client relationships.  Using tools such as CRM and industry research for targeted marking and sales efforts.  Your ability to create an internal culture of business development makes you a great fit for this position!

ABOUT YOU!

• You have a minimum of 5 years of successful business development experience; preferably in consulting services industry.
• You enjoy client-based community involvement as well as being active in client-based professional associations.
• You have demonstrated your ability to conduct market research to inform and establish an annual business development plan.
• You'll become a member of affiliated professional and trade associations.
• You have experience updating and maintaining CRM software.
