Business Intelligence Director directs a business intelligence group centered on providing insight and aiding in business decision-making. Oversees the planning of projects to produce reports and perform meaningful quantitative or qualitative analyses addressing impactful business issues or questions. Being a Business Intelligence Director collaborates with other departments to identify and generate potential business intelligence initiatives, and ensures that business intelligence analysts have the tools, training, and understanding of the field to produce effective dashboards, reports, and metrics.     • Serves as a Communications Intelligence (COMINT) Specialist focusing on interagency collection requirements to support regional and in-country counter-narcoterrorist operations.
    • Develops and coordinates COMINT activity in support of the JIATFS mission and national counter-narcoterrorist related objectives.
    • Maintains current knowledge of criminal geography, operator characteristics and communications procedures.

    • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
    • Two year trial/probationary period may be required.
    • In accordance with Change 3 to AR 600-85, Alcohol and Drug Abuse Prevention and Control Program, individual must successfully pass a urinalysis screening for illegal drug use prior to appointment and periodically thereafter.
    • Must be willing to undergo and successfully complete a counterintelligence-scope polygraph examination with No Deception Indicated (NDI) on a pre-appointment and periodic basis.
    • Must perform Temporary Duty (TDY) travel up to 25% or less of the time in CONUS and OCONUS in order to participate in interagency and IC conferences and meetings.
    • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Top-Secret security clearance based on an SBI with eligibility for sensitive compartmented information (SCI).
    • Fluency in the Spanish language is required.
    • Shift work is required to include nights, weekends, and holidays. In the event of an emergency (e.g., inclement weather, disaster coverage, etc.), may be required to work report for duty outside of scheduled shift.

Specialized experience is defined as experience performing communication intelligence (COMINT) collections and analysis requirements to support regional and in-country counter-narcoterrorism operations, intelligence production and dissemination.

    Progressively responsible experience is that which has included intelligence-related research, analysis, collections and /or operations. This experience should have included intelligence analysis and/or production, intelligence collection and/or operations, counterintelligence, or threat support directly related to the position to be filled. This experience should demonstrate: Knowledge of intelligence processes, cycle and organizations; Knowledge of and/or ability to use research tools such as library holdings, photographs, statistics, graphics and maps; Knowledge of the systems, procedures and methods of analyzing, compiling, reporting and disseminating intelligence data; and/or Knowledge of organization(s) for and methods of collecting and analyzing intelligence data.
