The B.I. Manager is responsible for the design, development, and deployment of Power BI reports that drive business decision-making. This is a highly visible role that will interact with staff at all levels to understand their data analysis needs and translate these into clear, actionable insights through Power BI solutions.

This role will participate in a range of projects allowing collaboration and learning from a broader Information Solutions team specializing in Data Operations, Analytics, Applications, and Data Science.

This is a hands-on role that will be developing new solutions and reimagining older solutions to keep up with advancements in the B.I. space. We are looking for creative problem solvers that can understand new solutions, new data, link projects, and anticipate the next questions.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain global Power BI reporting solutions.Collaborate with business users to translate business requirements into technical specifications.Ensure the accuracy and integrity of data.Optimize dashboards for performance and usability.Provide training and support to business users on Power BI and processes around BI projects.Stay current with the latest trends and technologies in data visualization and business intelligence.

Supervisory ResponsibilitiesNo initial supervisory responsibilities, but would as the team grows.

The salary range for this position is $90,000-120,000. The successful candidate’s salary will depend on actual ranges of current employees in the subject position, market considerations, budgetary considerations, geography, as well as the candidate’s skill set, level of experience, and qualifications. Qualifications

2-5 years of experience in B.I. required Proven experience as a Power BI Developer or similar roleExperience with DAX and Power Query requiredAbility to balance information, design, and user experiencePossess strong understanding of database management, SQL, and data transformation processes.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks and projects.Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Skills:Background in media dataExperience with Power BI Embedded Broader experience with Microsoft Fabric or Power Platforms Suite Knowledge of Tableau, Looker or Datorama Worked in a consulting capacity, translating user goals to project requirements.
