  • The qualified candidate will work with Client-facing business on the Acosta Group Headquarters / Broker Team partners to deliver business and category insights to help protect and grow our client's business at Walmart. You will be an expert on what is important to Merchants from a holistic OMNI point of view. The candidate will provide strategic thought leadership to our clients to shape and size the opportunities at Walmart. You will use Walmart data as well as syndicated data to create compelling and succinct stories to help grow the brands Acosta represents at Walmart.

    • Collaborate with Account Executives to align strategies and utilize in-depth knowledge of Walmart's data and processes to drive client growth initiatives. 
    • Develop concise and impactful presentations that facilitate increased distribution and market presence for Acosta's client at Walmart. 
    • Develop repeatable baseline frameworks so there is a best-in-class approach to all insight work at Acosta Group. 
    • Effectively manage priorities and deadlines, ensuring timely delivery of line reviews, quarterly business reviews (QBR), and other key deliverables. 
    • Cultivate and maintain positive relationships with clients, customers, and internal stakeholders, fostering open communication channels to drive success. 
    How will you succeed?
    • Demonstrates exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively convey insights and recommendations to internal and external stakeholders. 
    • Be proficient in the utilization of Retail Link/Luminate platforms and a deep understanding of syndicated data sources such as Nielson, IRI, Home Scan Panel, and SPINS. 
    • Exhibit strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts in a clear and concise manner. 
    • Leverage a solid working knowledge of the Consumer-Packaged Goods industry, particularly in the realm of customer insights, to inform strategic decision-making.
    • Exhibit strong leadership capabilities to guide and develop team members, ensuring deliverables are accurate, timely, and aligned with company objectives. 
    • Be a thought leader within the Acosta Bentonville team and in the Walmart community. 
    • Nurture a strong business network in the market to ensure Acosta is on the leading edge of Category and Business Insights.
    Experience and Qualifications
    • High School Diploma/GED is required. 
    • Bachelor's Degree preferred; related work experience may be substituted for the educational requirement. 
    • Category Management Certification is preferred. 
    • 5-8 years of related work experience in business intelligence, category management, or a related field.
    • 1-3 years of management experience, demonstrating leadership and team development skills. 
    • Proficiency in utilizing Retail Link/Luminate platforms for data analysis and reporting. 
    • Solid working knowledge of the Consumer-Packaged Goods industry, particularly in customer insights.
