The programmer analyst team designs and implements strategic metrics for the entire Spirit enterprise. The ideal candidate should have knowledge in Tableau, SQL, metrics data, analyzing business and production portfolios and more.

Responsibilities

Key Accountabilities:

• Work closely with Data Engineering team to ensure data sources are accurate, available, and analyzable.
• Hands on with Tableau Desktop (dashboard creation, report authoring and troubleshooting, data source management).
• Create and edit SQL queries to build calculated fields.
• Create interactive filters, parameters, and calculations for preparing dashboards and worksheets in Tableau.
• Build and publish interactive dashboards on Tableau Server. Collaborate with Data Engineering and business analysts to test, clean, and standardize data to meet business requirements.
• Have the confidence to work cross-functionally with various departments including business stakeholders and technical personnel to exchange ideas.
• Must have excellent verbal communications skills and documentation skills to maintain workflows and dashboard functionality.

Qualifications

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree with 6-9 years of relevant experience or Masters degree with 4-7 years of experience. Will consider more experience without higher education.
• At least five years of experience designing and developing business intelligence dashboards (Tableau experience a plus).
• At least five years of experience using SQL, able to write queries including ability to create calculated fields.
• Experience working with large and complex data
• Empirical understanding of data systems (BI analytics, data blending, data warehousing, data ETL, etc.) on process automation and standardization.
• Experience working on a support team environment by documenting, researching, solving problems via phone calls or email ticketing system.
• Experience working directly with business analysts or business sponsors to gather and validate functional requirements and provide the design specifications.
• Ability to work on multiple projects and flexibility to change priorities when needed.

Desirable Additional Abilities/Skills

• Build and code applications and/or modules using languages and concepts such as C , C#, ABAP, JAVA, XTML, etc.
• Using knowledge of software engineering, computing technology, programming languages, and software life cycles to develop, program, maintain, and integrate computing applications including company-developed and commercial off-the-shelf software.
