Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our team as an Assistant Operations Manager. In this role, you will work closely with the Operations Manager to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of our business. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a keen attention to detail.
Duties:
- Assist the Operations Manager in overseeing daily operations and managing staff
- Collaborate with team members to develop and implement operational strategies
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators to identify areas for improvement
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
- Manage inventory levels and coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of goods
- Assist in the development and implementation of training programs for staff
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback to team members
- Resolve customer complaints or issues in a timely and satisfactory manner
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment
Experience:
- Proven experience in a supervisory or managerial role
- Strong knowledge of operations management principles and best practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Familiarity with inventory management software is a plus
