Business Office Manager - Skilled Nursing Facility

MUST HAVE BUSSINESS OFFICE EXPERIENCE IN A NURSING FACILITY

SUMMARY: The primary purpose of this job position is to assist in the day-to-day accounting functions of the facility in accordance with current acceptable accounting and cost reimbursement principles relating to nursing facility operations, and as may be directed by the Administrator, Director of Finance, or Accountant.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must possess, as a minimum, a high-school diploma or its equivalent.
• Must have, as a minimum, three (3) years experience in bookkeeping or accounting practices.
• Must have experience with Medicaid and Medicare.
• Private, Medicare, Medicaid, Insurance Billing Public Aid pending applications, admit packets, income changes – MEDI Verifying payer sources and eligibility Accounts Receivable – all collections Work closely with Admissions and Marketing regarding required paperwork/payer source approvals
• Prior experience as a Business Office Manager in a skilled nursing setting. Facility-level billing experience including Medicare, Medicaid, Insurance claims and Private Pay Proven track record in performing within industry standards
• Point Click Care experience is preferred
