Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Business Operations Manager to join our team. The Business Operations Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing the financial and human resources aspects of the business as well as some of the day-to-day operations. We need a person who can ensure efficiency and effectiveness across all departments, while helping recruit and retain high caliber team members. This role requires strong leadership abilities, excellent problem-solving skills, and a deep understanding of finance, HR, and business operations.
Duties:
- Develop and implement operational strategies to optimize business performance and achieve organizational goals. Prepare reports, deliver to key management team members, and educate developing leaders on business information and assessments
- Streamline processes and procedures to improve efficiency and productivity, utilizing the tools we have and assess the tools we need
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track progress and identify areas for improvement
- Collaborate with department heads to ensure seamless coordination and communication between teams, while helping to develop our team and our leaders
- Identify opportunities for efficiency gains, the use of technology to drive the business, and improve our ability to attract and retain team members
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with team leaders, developing team leaders, and our stakeholders
- Lead and mentor a team of supporting employees, providing guidance, support, and professional development opportunities
Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting; or related field; Master's degree preferred
- Proven experience in business operations management or a similar role
- Strong knowledge of business principles, practices, and regulations
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Exceptional leadership abilities with a track record of successfully managing teams
- Proficient in using business software applications (e.g., ERP system, HR and Payroll software, EOS and other leadership training and developing tools)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
