Join the high impact, high visibility Global Strategy Team for Personal Systems (PS), a $40B business within a Fortune 100 company. The team is responsible for identifying market /business insights and developing recommendation on the investment priorities for the PS organization by working very closely with executives (Divisional Presidents and General Managers) and working teams (Vice Presidents and Directors). This role will identify and evaluate market / business insights impacting the business, support development of strategies to achieve long-term financial goals, assess organic and inorganic opportunities, and align the organization on key priorities.
Ideal candidates have at least 10 years of work experience, a top MBA and solid financial acumen coupled with strategic mindset.
Responsibilities:
Provides strategic advice to executive management and the regional/market leadership teams regarding overall targeted growth and capital strategy initiatives.
Creates end-to-end business plans for new areas and/or adjacent business opportunities and then.
Translates long-term strategy into a set of key priorities, initiatives and KPIs within each business unit.
Defines, develops and gains alignment on the end-to-end LTP and Budget across all key stakeholders.
Delivers data-driven insights and assessments of strategic business issues and opportunities.
Drives high-impact business plan development that enables the execution of business strategies (e.g., implementing new growth initiatives, reducing costs).
Directs and prioritizes large, highly complex business planning projects by monitoring deliverables and milestones, including developing contingencies to minimize risks and maximize success.
Partners with high-level client business leaders on a wide range of business issues, including risk management, implementation tactics, and new opportunity development.
Provides business rational and risk assessment for making HP investments in their area of focus and balances short-term and long-term strategies and resource investment.
Provides innovative thought leadership and shapes the knowledge base across multiple businesses, functions, or regions.
Provides strong leadership including developing and monitoring individual and team performance goals, coaching managers and senior individual contributors, and driving major change initiatives.
Education and Experience Required:
Typically, 10 years' experience in strategy, planning, operations, finance, or related functional area.
Previous people leadership experience, preferably in a global, cross- functional environment.
Advanced university degree (e.g., MBA) or demonstrable equivalent.
