The Process Control Specialist (PCS) will play a critical role in supporting continuous improvement in safety, manufacturing, cost, process reliability and productivity at the Holden, LA Lumber site. The PCS is responsible for providing technical and programming support to site manufacturing facilities through the utilization and optimization of process control systems. The position is part of a team that is driving cost reduction initiatives, process reliability and optimization who will work collaboratively with team leaders to improve manufacturing operations and lead new technology projects.
Reporting to the Plant Maintenance Manager, the PCS will interact with the plant maintenance and operations teams to support the use and maintenance of the systems, and with engineers and project managers to facilitate engineering, capital and major maintenance projects.
This is a full-time, exempt salaried position. Dayshift schedule with flexibility to respond to unplanned plant events and work flexible schedules across shifts when required.
