Creates flowcharts, process maps, and diagrams. Additionally, Business Process Specialist, Sr. supports cross-functional activities and working sessions during projects' design and implementation phases. Designs and prepares documentation, training materials, and communications supporting new processes. May deliver training to impacted business units. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. The Business Process Specialist, Sr. works autonomously. Goals are generally communicated in "solution" or project goal terms. May provide a leadership role for the work group through knowledge in the area of specialization. Works on advanced, complex technical projects or business issues requiring state of the art technical or industry knowledge. Requirements:
BS Degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering
US Citizen
Minimum 5 years experience in Manufacturing/Factory Environment
Proven experience in cost reduction, scrap reduction, or process improvement activities
Preferred Skills:
Experience with screen printing or printed electronics
Familiarity with manufacturing/factory processes
Proficiency in Time Studies, Kaizan Events, LEAN/Six Sigma processes, or Phase Gate Process
AutoCAD/Solidworks experience
Job Responsibilities:
Evaluate and improve existing processes to reduce costs and improve quality
Champion non-conforming product problem solving
Verify rework methods and facilitate team meetings
Identify variations and establish critical controls to reduce undesirable outputs
Advise production team leaders on improvement opportunities
Coach teams towards a zero defect culture.
