Develops strategies or infrastructure level recommendations surrounding improving processes, efficiency and practices of the organization's business systems. Being a Business Process Systems Consultant, Sr. simulates and tests process improvements. Communicates changes and may provide training to impacted business units. Additionally, Business Process Systems Consultant, Sr. requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a project leader or manager. OBJECTIVE
The position will report to the Customer's Project and Portfolio Management Office (PPMO) to supplement existing staff by supporting the planning, design, development, and implementation of information technology projects.
Preference will be given to candidates who are able to frequently attend on-site meetings in Tallahassee.

A. Prepare deliverables identified by the Functional Manager, within the timeframe specified by the Contract Manager(s). Deliverables the Contractor will be responsible for producing include, but are not limited to:

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
a. Minimum Qualifications:
1) Ability to communicate effectively (verbally and in writing) with staff at various levels;
2) A minimum of ten (10) years of IT business/industry work experience;
3) A minimum of seven (7) years of experience in performing business analyses on IT projects;
4) A minimum of seven (5) years of experience in developing requirements for IT projects;
5) Experience in the use of Microsoft Visio for creating the process model diagrams;
6) Experience with Agile and DevOps methodologies;
7) Experience translating business requirements into use cases/user stories and acceptance criteria.
b. Preferred Experience:
1) Experience working on Microsoft Power Platform or similar low-code/no-code platform development projects.
2) Experience developing or improving processes that adhere to basic case management or issuance principles.
3) Skills and experience in conducting meetings with individuals and groups of people to discuss business processes. The people involved may be at the manager level or end user level. People may be business-oriented or technical (IT) staff. The contractor will be expected to be the lead in all meetings and discussions related to their analysis. Experience with Joint Application Development (JAD) techniques is beneficial.
