Business Process Technology Consultant consults with client companies in order to evaluate and recommend technology solutions that will facilitate the accomplishment of the client's business goals. Analyzes the client's business strategy, operations, and current technology architecture in order to develop options for new technologies that will optimize the company's functions and business processes. Being a Business Process Technology Consultant provides consultation regarding solutions planning, impact analysis, risk assessment, and budgeting. May provide financial analysis to determine ROI/ROA of proposed solutions. Additionally, Business Process Technology Consultant requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The Business Process Technology Consultant occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. This position will primarily work with low income adults and dislocated workers. This position involves case management tasks, client engagement, and advocacy and referral services. The primary responsibilities will be working with clients on career readiness, postsecondary education preparation, soft skills, job search assistance, resume development, work experience placements, and providing resources and referrals while adhering to policy expectations for case management, program compliance, and documentation collection.
This position requires a high level of organization and attention to detail, while providing excellent customer service in a compassionate, resourceful, knowledgeable manner. This position will provide direct employment and training services, including career counseling (assessment of interests and abilities, job search strategies, and guidance related to education and vocational training), monitoring and ensuring program compliance, and providing resources and tools to assist individuals to overcome barriers and achieve self-sufficiency and overall stability.
Minimum Qualifications & Skills:- Bachelor’s degree in relevant field or combination of experience and training which demonstrates the ability to work with adult unemployed and underemployed individuals.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and Online Data Management programs.
- A demonstrable commitment to promoting and enhancing diversity is a required qualification.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to relate to people from various socio-economic backgrounds.
- Ability to work within a team while maintaining high individual performance standards. Must have ability to organize and prioritize efforts.
- Be able to provide own transportation and attend occasional evening and/or out-of-town meetings (overnight travel may occasionally be required).
- Previous experience working with individuals on public assistance, workforce development programs, and/or counseling and case management.
