About the Role:

We are searching for a meticulous and reliable Bookkeeper/Accounting Assistant to join our team and play a vital role in maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our financial records. In this role, you will be responsible for a variety of accounting tasks, including data entry, bookkeeping, and assisting with financial reporting.

Responsibilities:

• Process accounts payable and receivable functions, including entering invoices, processing payments, and managing vendor and customer accounts.
• Reconcile bank statements and other financial accounts monthly.
• Prepare various financial reports, such as general ledgers, cash flow statements, and balance sheets.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date bookkeeping records according to Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
• Assist with year-end closing procedures and preparation of tax documents (may vary based on experience).
• Stay up-to-date on accounting software and best practices.
• Perform other accounting-related tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting.
• Associate’s degree in Accounting or a related field preferred.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
