Position Summary
The Controller is ultimately responsible for focusing on cost accounting and forecasting of PCSM.
Essential Functions

- Develop cost accounting systems and procedures to provide accurate financial reporting and effective cost control.
- Lead the budgeting and forecasting processes, ensuring financial plans are consistent with organizational goals.
- Manage the integration and optimization of D365, address existing system challenges, and enhance its functionality to meet our financial reporting needs.
- Provide timely financial analysis and reports to assist senior management in decision-making processes.
- Serve as a financial advisor to the operations team, deliver insights and recommendations to improve profitability and efficiency.
- Act as a backup to the VP of Finance, demonstrate leadership capabilities as a potential successor for financial leadership within the organization.
- Supervise and develop a finance team, foster an environment of continuous improvement and professional growth.
- Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and company policies.
- Support and utilize technology and systems to enhance the production planning process.Obey all safety rules, use caution in work activities, and continuously practice safe behaviors.
- Immediately report unsafe conditions/behaviors and work-related injuries to site supervision.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Education and Experience
- A minimum of 6-10 years of relevant experience in finance, with a strong focus on cost accounting within a manufacturing environment.
- A bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field is required; an advanced degree is a plus.
- Proven experience in managing and leading a team, with the capability to mentor and develop staff.
- Technical competencies in cost accounting, financial planning and analysis (FP&A), and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems are essential.
- A Certified Management Accountant (CMA) certification is strongly preferred; a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification is also beneficial.
- Demonstrated skills in financial analysis, forecasting, and team management.
- Advanced financial analysis capabilities.
- Expertise in forecasting techniques and models.
- Strong leadership skills with experience in team management and development.
- Proficiency in using ERP and inventory management software.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.
