Controller

Location: Hayti, SD, 57241

Job Description:

The Controller will be responsible for overseeing all financial and accounting activities of the organization. This includes managing financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis. The Controller will also be responsible for managing the payroll process and ensuring compliance with all tax regulations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and finance, with experience in managing a team. They should be detail-oriented, organized, and able to work independently.

• Manage the month end closing process and ensure all balance sheet accounts are reconciled monthly
• Prepare monthly bank reconciliations
• Maintain internal controls and company processes and procedures
• Process Payroll
• Ability to partner with the GM and provide insight on department and expense variances and opportunities
• Oversee general ledger and accounting functions 
• Oversee Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable and Billing functions
• Manage the coordination and completion of annual financial audits
• Prepare monthly financial statements
