The Unit Coordinator manages the clerical functions of the nursing unit necessary to provide patient care. This position will also assist with patient monitoring as necessary including de-escalation and Mental Health Technician duties.
Work schedule is five shifts per week and will include weekends as necessary.

Education:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Experience:
One (1) year experience working with a psychiatric patient population and previous medical administration/assisting experience preferred.
License:
Valid NC driver’s license. Other states licenses considered with an active/valid military ID.
Other:
Motor Vehicle History report dating back 3 years shows no accumulation of six (6) points or more at the present time. No DWI convictions within past 3 years and No “at-fault” accidents within the past 1 year.
Physical requirements:
Medium Work – Exerting 20 – 50 pounds of force occasionally or 10 – 25 pounds of force frequently or an amount greater than negligible and up to 10 pounds of force frequently or an amount greater than negligible and up to 10 pounds constantly to move objects. Physical demand requirements are in excess of these for light work. Requires walking or standing to a significant degree.
