Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized and motivated Buyer to join our Procurement team. The Buyer will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing goods and services required for the company's operations. The ideal candidate should possess excellent communication skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with suppliers, cross-functional teams, and internal stakeholders to ensure timely and cost-effective procurement.

A successful candidate must be able to:

• Craft purchase order and inventory reports for cross functional review and decision making.

• Ensure that all delivery timelines satisfy the assigned orders and/or forecasts, and report schedule adherence risks. 

• Deliver a weekly purchase order report to supervisors that indicates the invoice number for all closed orders.

• Effectively communicate with team members of open orders throughout the department.

• Maintain active inventory, inventory levels, and associated reporting.

• Maintain cost-competitive pricing and advantageous pricing agreements.

• All other duties as assigned.

A successful candidate will demonstrate:

• Strong negotiation and problem solving skills

• Ability to contact vendors and suppliers for quotations and maintain relationships

• Ability to Solve problems with orders and resolve all receiving and invoicing discrepancies.

• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal

Qualifications:

• Bachelors Degree in relevant field or Equivalent Experience

• Is a critical thinker with attention to detail when selecting items

• Is a natural collaborator and problem solver and strives for continuous improvement

• Experience in ERP and CRM systems
