You will ensure timely product delivery to support sales team and maintain inventory accuracy. This role is a tremendous opportunity to build your career in Supply Chain in a global manufacturing environment. Responsibilities Placing purchase orders and ensure timely delivery of products. Negotiating prices, terms and conditions with suppliers. Assisting in the development of annual purchasing plans and budgets. Monitoring inventory levels and ensuring timely delivery of goods. Maintaining positive relationships with suppliers and effectively resolving any issues that arise. Request quotes from vendors and place PO to receive materials when needed at the lowest cost. Work with Accounting and Quality Assurance to resolve invoicing receiving and quality issues as they arise. Work with suppliers to ensure on-time deliveries. Implement the instructions of the quality / environmental management representative and the occupational safety specialist. Requirements Demonstrated knowledge of sourcing and purchasing materials in manufacturing environment or a related field. Be knowledgeable in stock replenishment routines. Have a keen attention to detail and ability to analyze purchasing data. Be proficient in Microsoft Excel and other purchasing software Have solid communication skills.
