Day Shift position - Start time 6:00am
NOTE: Training and Documentation Specialist 40-45 hours per week. Day Shift position. Locations at Saginaw and Fenton, MI.Description of the Training and Documentation Specialist:Training and Documentation Specialist Travel to and perform training at customer facility using preprepared Operation and Maintenance Manuals. Training may involve daily travel to the customer facility (Michigan). Overnight stay will be required when the training takes place outside of Michigan, in Canada, Mexico, or other international locations. As part of the training activity, the trainer will be required to maintain record of the training dates, sing in sheets, and maintain the forms describing the topics covered during training (copies of the training forms are provided to customer and corporate upon completion of the scheduled training). Multiday onsite training will normally take place on consecutive days within a given work week. In general, the onsite training involves going over course materials in the classroom followed by physical demonstrations at the equipment. When needed, training may be supplied by subject matter experts (examples; verification and calibration, PLCHMI applications, test software, servo drive applications, advanced leak test operation). Secondary : when onsite training is not scheduled, the trainer will be required to work with other teams to create and review content for new or revised Operation Maintenance Manuals. General : Meet with team members weekly to review workload, current project status, plans for the week. If training related travel takes place during the scheduled meeting time, the trainer will provide updates by email or Teams. Regular or predictable attendance is an essential function for this job. Other duties may be also assigned.

- Experience working with automated assembly and test equipment
- Experience working with engineering drawings (electrical, hydraulic, mechanical, and pneumatic control systems)
- Experience speaking in front of a group on a technical level (operators, trades, plant engineers)
- Proficiency in using Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, etc.)
- Experience in building and writing clear and effective training content
- Excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work as a team member and independently
Required Education of the Training and Documentation Specialist:- Engineering degree in related field electrical, mechanical, fluid power, controls software
Required Skills of the Training and Documentation Specialist:- Language : Use of proper English, engineering, and technical terminology
- Mathematical Skills : Comfortable demonstrating applying engineering related mathematics to items covered in training course
- Reasoning Ability : Comfortable demonstrating problem solving (electrical, hydraulic, mechanical, and pneumatic control systems)
