This position is for an experienced Mechanical Aerospace Drafter role to join a growing aerospace team with L&T Technology Services (LTTS). As an important part of the Mechanical team here at LTTS, you will actively be providing critical value to our customers by helping to ensure high quality and accurate data is made available to the customers' engineering and quality teams to meet operational goals.
This role will work with the LTTS team and our major aerospace customer to identify and create sectioned drawings to update a newly implemented QMS system. The successful candidate will have experience preparing technical drawings and plans, utilizing Computer Aided Design applications. The successful candidate will have a diverse skill set and leverage capabilities to check the quality of all incoming drawings for accuracy before preparing to move into the ATS Inspect system. You will be a firm advocate of quality in our business.
The ideal candidate will have a trained eye for detail and will be reliable and committed. A passion for quality standards and quality product output is essential and job duties may include technical reviews, designing new tools or systems of measurement, interpreting data, or researching the science of engineering to better processes/accuracy.
This is an on-site position, meaning much of this role will require working out of our customers' facilities located in Minneapolis, MN.
