Position: CAD Designer

Department: Engineering

Essential Job Functions:

• Work as part of a design team developing custom control panels and displays from concept and support them through the product lifecycle.
• Manage time to draw multiple design projects at a time to meet customers timelines.
• Support lead engineers by detailing drawings and documenting specifications.
• Design enclosures.
• Design panel and touch screen graphics.
• Design cut paths for digital printers in Adobe Illustrator.
• Design single layer printed circuit boards in 2D CAD software.
• Interpret customer drawings and technical requirements and work with customers to resolve design issues.

• Perform work with high attention to detail and a priority for product quality.
• Supports the Vision, Values, and Strategic Goals of the Company.
• Follow all guidelines, policies, and procedures established by the Company.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as needed.

Education, Experience, and Qualifications:

• Associates Degree or equivalent experience in design or drafting.
• At least 1 - 2 years of relevant experience or associates degree.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and Adobe Illustrator.
• Apply fundamental design principles and practices
• Must have a positive attitude, be a self-starter, an able problem solver, and have an eye for good design.
• Investigate and resolve product design issues.
• Work cross functionally at all levels of an organization.
• Communicate technical information.
• Develop and Document engineering prints and specifications
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.

Compensation

• Pay based on experience and negotiable. Starts at $18.00 - $20.00 plus annual bonus and profit sharing!
• Voluntary overtime during the weekdays.
