Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Cafe and Catering Assistant Manager to join our team. This role is essential in providing exceptional service to our customers while maintaining a clean and inviting environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality and a commitment to delivering high-quality food and beverage experiences in our cafe and at catering events.

Crossroads Cafe is a small business, owned and operated by family and friends. We have a warm and welcoming atmosphere and commitment to providing the best quality service to our community. This position will work closely with our Front of House Manager, our Catering and Operations Director, and our owner to ensure high quality operation in all areas.

Duties
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting guests, taking orders, and responding to inquiries.
- Corresponding with customers to aid in setting up events.
- Support banquet and catering events by setting up, serving, and breaking down as needed.
- Adhere to food safety guidelines and proper food handling procedures to ensure a safe dining experience for all guests.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy periods, including inventory and organization.

Skills
- Strong background in hospitality with a focus on customer service excellence.
- Experience in the food industry, including knowledge of food safety practices.
- Ability to handle food safely and efficiently, ensuring compliance with health regulations.
- Familiarity with coffee preparation and service is preferred but not required.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to work well in a team-oriented environment, including

Pay: From $18.00 per hour
