Cage Manager Assistant - Casino assists the Cage Manager with managing the casino cage. Ensures proper staffing, customer satisfaction, and accurate accounting of transactions. Being a Cage Manager Assistant - Casino requires an associate degree. Typically reports to the Cage Manager. The Cage Manager Assistant - Casino supervises a group of primarily para-professional level staffs. May also be a level above a supervisor within high volume administrative/ production environments. Makes day-to-day decisions within or for a group/small department. Has some authority for personnel actions. Thorough knowledge of department processes. Complete transactions of selling and buying chips from customers.
Wage: $17.00/ an hour base pay, tips from tip pool tips

Responsibilities
Other Responsibilities:
- Acknowledge and greet customers and guests in a friendly and courteous manner.
- Sell chips to Runners and Dealers.
- Cash out customers.
- Issue Dealer banks.
- Issue Restaurant and Deli/Snack Bar Cashiers banks.
- Complete customer credit checks.
- Assist customers in the transactions of their “players bank.”
- Accept authorized markers and sell chips to players accordingly.
- Be aware of any counterfeit currency, and report this to the Manager immediately.
- Never indicate that a tip, “toke”, or gratuity is expected for services.
- Perform all other work-related duties as assigned by the Casino Cage Manager.
