Job Title: Calibration Technician

Job Purpose: Calibration Technician maintains, test and repair a variety of instrumentation and equipment. Must ensure that instruments, gauges and testing devices are calibrated correctly and give accurate readings. The Calibration Technician will also ensure that the ESD Control Program for the protection of electrical and electronic parts, assemblies and equipment in accordance with ANSI/ESD S20.20 compliance requirements. Employee should have the ability to obtain pertinent information with regard to specific problems and draw appropriate conclusions and move to resolution. Solid computer skills for data entry are required.

Nature of Duties:

• ·         Performs tasks, such as reviewing the database for equipment requiring calibration verifications and executing the required task.
• ·         Ensure ESD Control Program is in accordance with ANSI/ESD S20.20 compliance requirements.
• ·         Ensures activities and items are in compliance with documented Product Work Instructions and Procedures.
• ·         Documents audit results and issues reports to management, as required.
• ·         Must maintain a proactive approach on resolving issues; while maintaining a sense of urgency in completing assignments on time.
• ·         Must be team player.

Education and Experience:

• ·         Minimum of 2 years experience in a Manufacturing Environment; specifically calibration verifications.
• ·         2 year degree in Technical Discipline preferred
• ·         Solid written and verbal communication skills for interfacing with engineering and management.
• ·         Must possess solid computer skills for data entry requirements
