Key accountabilities:Implement field modifications according to the modification instruction (including tests, if required)Ensure use of valid/calibrated toolsPopulate relevant modification follow-up data base and report relevant information to Field Modification Coordinator-Leader & PI Customer Site ManagerEnsure information flow within the field modification team (e.g. shift handover)Perform quality self-inspectionRespect EHS rules (Environment Health & Safety rules) and any work-related processes. Ensure risk assessment & safe-system -of-work is available.Report any deviation or non-conformity associated with the field modificationEnsure all necessary parts, tools & documents are available prior to starting the field modificationPerformance measurements:Respect of timeframe for modification implementationCustomer acceptance and quality level of implemented modificationCompliance with EHS rules and work-related processesAchievement of contractual availability (milestone) targetsCompleteness and Quality of FM implementation data recorded in data baseAvailability of configuration update dataAudit results (internal and external)

Pay: $35 - $50/hr

Job RequirementsRequired Skills / Qualifications:- Certified Technician or Undergraduate in technical area (mechanical or electrical/electronics)
- Minimum IT knowledge
- Internal EHS training
- Technical operational experience (mechanical or electrical / electronic) (> 10 years for Senior position)
- Field Experience (> 10 years for Senior position)
- Teamwork capacity
- EHS knowledge and exposure
- Product knowledge
- In addition for Senior Position :
- Self-government
- FM Operator team management (of applicable)
- Technical troubleshooting/investigation experience (mechanical or electrical / electronic)
Preferred Skills / Qualifications:- Graduate in technical area (mechanical or electrical/electronics)
- Railway Safety/Product liability
- Engineering knowledge
- Customer contact
- Technical troubleshooting/investigation experience (mechanical or electrical / electronic)
- Team management (if applicable)
